Perfect Valentine's Gift: For the Newlyweds

Budget conscious gals everywhere these days are looking for a way to save save save...and even cupid has to cut back sometimes. So, what better way than giving a 2-for-1 Valentine's gift — 2 people, 1 gift!

Need an adorably romantic gift for your fave newlyweds (Little Mrs. Newlywed, this has you and your Hubs written all over it!)? These Sweetie Stats Journals from Paper Source help newlyweds keep tabs on each other — from basic likes and dislikes to stats like clothing sizes and in-laws birthdays. Essentially, they house all the random tidbits that come along with having a new love in your life (and another life to keep tabs on!) — and there's one for him and one for her!

Best of all? They're under $10!

Me Time? Mani Time!

Winter is cruel for many reasons — cold temperatures, bitter winds, cars frozen solid in a block of ice, and, of course, alligator-skin hands. But no more! This January I resolve to give my hands the royal treatment they deserve, without breaking the bank. First I start with C.O. Bigelow Chapped Hands Cleanser (I like to leave it on for a few minutes to bask in the oh-so-soothing Aloe Vera goodness). Then I follow it up with Chapped Hands Remedy, a non-greasy, medicated lotion that keeps my hands soft and moisturized throughout the lowest of temperatures. Best of all? They are fragrance free, and won’t interfere with my new favorite scent of the season, Twilight Woods.

Little Mrs. Newlywed's Wish List Week 2: Baby It's Cold Outside!

Several years ago I discovered the quirky restaurant Serendipity 3 and their signature LinkFrozen Hot Chocolate on the upper east side of New York City. Delicious and decadent, it was the perfect way to top off a romantic night of ice skating in Central Park with your honey (think: John Cusak and Kate Beckinsale!). Since we can't all escape to NYC for a date night, Serendipity's Frozen Hot Chocolate gift set has you covered: yummy chocolate-y goodness, straws for two, AND, since it's frozen....a good excuse to get cozy! YUM!

Little Mrs. Newlywed's Love List Day 5: Fall in Love!

When I stepped out of my apartment Monday morning, I was surprised to feel the air crisp and cool on my skin. But then it hit me — fall is here! And along with it, some of my favorite loves:

Fantasy Football

No, this is not a misprint…I am a huge fan of the NFL, and commissioner of a co-ed fantasy football league. I like to think I bring my own special touch to the league…this year everyone had to draw draft numbers out of a Chanel shopping bag.

Starbucks Caramel Apple Cider

Just add whipped cream and you’ve got the perfect fall treat.

The Perfect Autumn Leaves

This scent defines fall…I bought the candle and was hooked! I went back for the anti-bacterial hand soap because I just can’t get enough of this fragrance.

Hoodies & Cardigans & Scarves — oh my!

What girl doesn’t love to start layering clothes when the weather turns chilly? Ruehl still has the best hoodies, if you can find a store near you.

Pumas

Too cold for sandals, but too warm for boots…these ballerinas slash tennies are the perfect solution (and available in lots of great colors!).

September by Earth Wind & Fire / Fatboy Slim

I always liked the original 70’s song, but then discovered this updated version with Fatboy Slim. The result? The perfect song for, well, September.

Snuggling

Cool weather is the perfect excuse to snuggle up to the one you love! Around our house, a proper snugglefest includes me, my husband and our two kitties Jasper and Jasmine.
